Sunsets - Saturday Snapshots

I can't resist photos of sunsets. So since I haven't taken any memorable pictures lately, here are some sunsets I've captured in the past. These were all taken in my neighborhood--some from my own doorstep! 







I have never seen rays like this before (or since).

    I love a good sunset too! These shots are gorgeous. The last one shows us why children draw suns with lines/rays coming out of the circle :-)

      Whenever I see a beautiful sunset, I try to stop and take a moment to savor it. If I have my camera with me, capturing its beauty is an added bonus.

    Sunsets are favorites of mine too. Really respond to the last one. Rays like that remind me of a picture that was in my childhood bedroom of Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane. Thank you for sharing.

    Oh my! These are breath-taking! Funny thing about sunsets...I think they look different everywhere and every day and I love that! Especially fond of the one with the rays behind the clouds. That's downright holy!

    What great sunsets! We've had some pretty spectacular sunsets here, too. Unfortunately, they've been so great because of the fires around and the smoke in the air Sigh!

    I love sunrise and sunset photos. This summer, I tried to capture a few in my hometown. I suppose in all fairness, I should attempt a few here in the Midwest where I currently live.

    All the photos are spectacular. The last is my favorite!
