Snowy Photos - #SaturdaySnapshots

Even though the Seattle area is located in the far northwest corner of the United States, our weather isn't as frigid as one would expect. However, we have had several snowfalls this winter. Here are a few photos from February 22nd. (Click on photos to enlarge.)

This snowfall was especially light and fluffy.
Flakes floated like feathers from the sky.

Lilacs outside my dining room window.
I'm looking forward to their blooms in spring.
I love the look of morning sunshine
on freshly fallen snow.

  1. I think of the Pacific Northwest as quite snowy, but it probably isn't as cold as I'm imagining. Snow is beautiful and it makes everything beautiful. At least, until it doesn't anymore.

  2. I think of rain, mostly, when I think of the Pacific Northwest. But the snowy pictures are definitely beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Luckily, our snow doesn't last long. This snowfall was gone by the next day!

  5. What lovely photos. I especially like the last photo. We have been predicted snow for next week, but they often get it wrong or it does not come to much in town.
