Little Library - Saturday Snapshots

While hiking in the Seattle area, I came across a nice surprise. A Little Free Library! Looks like this one has a good selection.

I posted a photo of another Little Library located in Woodinville on an earlier Saturday Snapshots (HERE) Have you seen these around your neighborhood?

Saturday Snapshots is hosted by West Metro Mommy Reads.

  1. Presumably that's a post box? It's a brilliant idea. There is a village near us that had a library in an old red phone box - I mus go and see I it's still there. My Snapshot is at https://thebooktrunkblog.wordpress.com/

  3. We don't have any Little Libraries that I know of in India... it seems to be a good concept though!

  4. I haven't seen any in our town. I would think if there was one, the local newspaper would have done a feature. We have a wonderful brick and mortar library and we are a fairly small city. I love the idea though.

  6. I saw one not too long ago near the Green River/Riverbend Golf Course trail (west Kent). I think they're cool, too.

  15. I SO want to start one of these!! Aren't they cool? Of course, we live at the end of a cul-de-sac in a very quiet neighborhood, so probably not ideally located! But I love the concept. I've never seen one in person - lucky you!

  16. These make me smile when I see them. There was one in a public rose garden that I thought was very well-placed! Great shot.

  17. I LOVE Little Free Libraries! I really want to put one up in our front yard (Goodness knows I have enough books to spare!), but I doubt our HOA would allow it.
