Remlinger Farms - Saturday Snapshots

I recently spent an afternoon at Remlinger Farms with my daughter-in-law and granddaughter, and we all had a great time. This facility is billed as a family fun park and pick-your-own farm with rides, entertainment and a petting zoo. It's geared to younger children. None of the rides were too scary for my four-year-old granddaughter.
Remlinger Farms is located in beautiful Carnation, Washington, on the Tolt River east of Seattle.

Scarecrows were everywhere! In the trees, hanging on fences, riding bicycles, and turning somersaults.

Even grandma had an exciting time.

  1. That looks like a lot of fun. Busch Gardens does a Halloween theme as well but its much more gory and geared more to teens and adults. Its nice they have something for the kids and those that dont want to be scared half to death.

  2. That looks such a fun day with your granddaughter. It's so nice to find a place that's perfect for their age. And she's a lovely age to do things with.

  3. What fun to enjoy the rides with your granddaughter and her mom. Those days are gone for me, but I remember them fondly.

  4. What fun! I love places like this, and we occasionally have some "fake" ones near the city, but one that is more like an actual farm is best, isn't it?

Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.

  7. What fun! Is this place open all year 'round or just during harvest season? A lot of the farms around here go all out in mid-September-October (like the Roloff's! They're only a few miles away and their place is, well, out of this world), but it's only for those 6 weeks or so.

  8. The website says:
We open for the season each year Mother’s Day week. Please check out our Hours page for more details.
The Park and Restaurant close for the Season at the end of October. The Market stays open until the day before Thanksgiving.

  9. Love the scarecrows! Did you go on the rollercoaster? I started getting sick on them long ago. The maze looks like more my thing. ;-)

  12. It was so much fun -- especially seeing the excitement on my granddaughter's face with every new experience. I didn't ride the roller coaster this time, but I definitely will if we go again.
