Our visit to Germany was in autumn. I'm ready to go back to Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

We had a great time exploring the cobblestone streets of this small town. |
The surrounding countryside. |
Great views from the wall that surrounds the town. Autumn colors were glorious. Walking along the perimeter of the town wall. |
I love seeing photos of Europe especially visitors photos. You see lots of professional photos in magazines and books, but seeing it through the eyes of someone visiting there is much more real for me. Have a great weekend, Sandra!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm glad you enjoyed my photos. Our son and daughter-in-law went with us on this trip, and we had a great time.
DeleteMy cousin was stationed there with the air force and loved it. Brought home a wife :) Beautiful pics!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by, Jacquie. We enjoyed Germany and felt completely at home there.
DeleteI need to go to Europe soon as it looks so beautiful! I would need to get some more memory cards and a bigger hard drive first!
ReplyDeleteSame here! I'm ready to go, but this time I'd love to see Norway and Sweden.
DeleteOh, you make me want to go NOW! I do love the old buildings, the cobblestone streets, and the fall! Thanks for sharing....and enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteHere's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
I'm a firm believer in "do it NOW." After all, you never know when an illness may strike that will limit your accessibility. We went during the "shoulder" season (early autumn) when hotel rates were lower and crowds smaller.
DeleteMy favourite is the picture with the wall around the town.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Rothenburg was a charming town.
DeleteSo beautiful. I haven't spent much time in Germany, but it all seems so charming. Here's Mine
ReplyDeleteWe've been to Germany twice and enjoyed ourselves both times. It's a lovely place.
DeleteSo scenic and charming - and so different from everyday suburbia. Sounds like it was a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteExperiencing different ways of life is part of the fun of travel to me.
DeleteSo do I. It makes me want to pack my bags and GO.
ReplyDeleteNow I want to go to Europe too! Well, maybe when my husband and I retire. For now, our visits are always to my home province of Newfoundland.
ReplyDeleteAutumn is such a pretty season. I like old buildings and cobblestone too. Thanks for sharing!
I'd love to go to Newfoundland.
DeleteI was fortunate enough to be in Europe in the autumn too - it's a glorious time to meander along the winding, cobblestone streets, enjoying the colours in window boxes and parks and the blessed cooler weather.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the trip down memory lane :-)
Thank you for stopping by. I'm glad my photos brought back happy memories for you.
