I couldn't resist including this gingerbread house that's a replica of the Banff Springs Hotel (now the Fairmont Banff Springs), Alberta, Canada. This is an old photo. We skied near Banff at Christmastime, many, many years ago.

Lovely little houses. Too much work for me. I just to love to look at them or eat them!
ReplyDeleteI was so surprised to see those houses at the Auburn Rec Center when I went for my Silver Sneakers class. They're so clever! I never would have thought to use shredded wheat to create a thatched roof or pretzels to make the walls of a log cabin.
