#Gingerbread Houses - #SaturdaySnapshot

In the spirit of Christmas, the Auburn (Washington) Community Event Center is hosting a gingerbread house competition. I've pasted photos of the entries below. Which one would you vote for?
(Click on photos for a closer look.)

I couldn't resist including this gingerbread house that's a replica of the Banff Springs Hotel (now the Fairmont Banff Springs), Alberta, Canada. This is an old photo. We skied near Banff at Christmastime, many, many years ago.

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by West Metro Mommy Reads.
To join in or to view photos from around the world:

  1. Lovely little houses. Too much work for me. I just to love to look at them or eat them!

  2. I was so surprised to see those houses at the Auburn Rec Center when I went for my Silver Sneakers class. They're so clever! I never would have thought to use shredded wheat to create a thatched roof or pretzels to make the walls of a log cabin.
Thanks for stopping by the blog, Grace, and for leaving a comment.

  3. So gorgeous! I couldn't pick just one, as I want them all! Thanks for sharing.

  4. I agree with you, Laurel-Rain. I like each one of them for different reasons. Their creators must have had a lot of fun putting them together.

Thank you for visiting "Writing With a Texas Twang." All comments are sincerely appreciated. Tell me what you think!
