Here in the Pacific Northwest, we've had some foggy days recently. Seems to me this usually happens during the transition between seasons - easing out of winter into springtime. NOT fun to drive in, but this last batch wasn't too bad.
10:00 a.m., driving through a black-and-white world
The sun is trying to break through.
But there's still plenty of fog down closer to the Green River
I like fog, we don't have it that it lasts so long. When I lived in Vancouver we had fog that lasted for 2 weeks one time! I didn't like it by the end of two weeks....
Lovely fog. We had one day last week where the clouds stayed on the ground almost the entire day. Never seen it do that before. You walked out and could feel them!
Your fog is beautiful....we tend to get those low-hanging ones we call tule fog....scary! Thanks for sharing, and enjoy your transitional time.
ReplyDeleteHere's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
Great shots! I espicially like the first one. We haven't had much fog yet this year but we are not far from when it tends to start.

ReplyDeleteLuckily, our usually burns off by early afternoon. I can't imagine two weeks of fog!
Delete~They are very atmospheric, with those trees in graduated shades of grey.My Snapshot is at http://chriscross53.blogspot.co.uk/
ReplyDeleteBetter drive slow! Fogs so make great pictures though.
ReplyDeleteThat's some serious fog! This looks like perfect weather to read something gothic-y!
ReplyDeleteI agree -- with a hot cup of tea to sip.
DeleteWonderful fog, excellent catches! Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteYes. It HAS been foggy here. One day I drove to work in the thick fog and felt like I got the Spring Ahead backwards. Weird. My Snapshots
ReplyDeleteLove your photos, Sandy. You capture the eerie-cozy quality of our fog so well.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Judy. If I got up a little earlier in the morning, I'd be able to catch the denser fog, but I don't think that's going to happen!
DeleteThere is something lovely about fog. We haven't had it for a while here, but I always wish I could get a good picture of it when it does show up!
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful :) currently outside our window is wind, and clouds, and the tail end of Cyclone Pam. Not fun :(
ReplyDeleteYikes! I hope you didn't have any damage from the storm.
DeleteWe've had lots of fog lately, too. And so much rain.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping for a sunny spring break. Here, here!
We have so much fog lately too! Seems that old man winter just isn't taking too kindly to leaving! Spooky pictures!
