Although this is the second book in the Dawson Ranch Series, it also stands alone.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away -- you don't want to ruin the book for others)
- Share the title and author too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers
- Leave a comment on MizB's Teaser Tuesday post (HERE) and include your link so everyone can find your post.
Thank you Sandy!!!

Congratulations on the release of your first book.
DeleteOh, I do love the sound of this one. I like characters that are struggling and hoping and dreaming...and other characters that want to help. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI like a good Western romance on occasion!
ReplyDeleteI've been reading quite a few Western romances recently and enjoying them. RYELEE'S COWBOY is one of my favorites.
DeleteOhhh, sounds a little intense. Hope you're enjoying it! :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds really quite good and from a genre I wouldn't normally be drawn to. Similar issues to my TT this week (thanks for visiting me) http://cleopatralovesbooks.wordpress.com/2014/07/08/teaser-tuesday-july-8/
ReplyDeleteThe characters are definitely not stereotypical. I think that's one reason I enjoyed the story.
DeleteI really came to care for the characters in this book, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
ReplyDeleteRyelee's Cowboy sounds intense and emotional, Sandra. I hadn't heard of it before, but now I'm adding it to my TBR. Thanks for stopping by earlier.

DeleteGood teaser, these sound like two strong characters. Thanks for visiting mine -- I hadn't thought of Mz. B's teaser and mine tying together, but they sort of do, don't they? *grin*
ReplyDeleteI tend to stay away from westerns but that line had me going 'oh snaaap, sucks to be her' lol
ReplyDeleteRyelee has had a rough life, but she has a kind heart. She's a likable character.
DeleteThat sounds a bit sad, but great teaser! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!
ReplyDelete"She says she doesn't want to spend any of the money she's made because she'll need it when I throw her away."
ReplyDeleteHow awful! Although, I'd have to look at both sides of the coin before I can make my assumptions; thanks for stopping by :)
Based on her life experience, Ryelee doesn't have very high expectations. Her story is a good one.
DeleteI don't really read any books like this, but the teaser sounds good!
