This is a sweet romance with this tagline: "Life may not turn out like we planned, but sometimes that’s what makes it perfect…"
Book Beginning:
I had a plan.
I knew exactly how my future would be. I wanted to marry my boyfriend Tucker, to have a nice long engagement as we planned the perfect wedding ceremony. My father would walk me down the aisle as my white dress dragged gently against the tile of our church floor, knocking the pews like a silent bell as I strolled down the aisle.
Friday 56 (from 56% on my Kindle):
"You've got this," Jason said from across the stage. I was starting to think he could read my mind. His green eyes were shining underneath the bright stage lights. His smile was subtle and comforting. We each took a deep breath.

I can totally visualize these scenes...and I suspect that something will interfere with all the perfection. Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteOf course! If nothing interfered with a character's plans then there wouldn't be much of a story, would there? Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to leave a comment.
DeleteIf only it happened like this...
ReplyDeleteHere is my post
I guess plans do actually work out like this sometimes, but in real life, things rarely go that smoothly... and they don't in this book!
DeleteI've never pictured my wedding, if there ever is one, but now I can't help but imagine it. I'll probably need a very long engagement because I'm terrible at planning anything! Are you thinking about reading the other two as well? Here's my Friday post and I hope you have a good weekend :)

Yes, I do plan to read the other two books. But right now I have other priorities. My latest book BLUEBONNETS FOR ELLY is scheduled for release as an ebook on January 28th so that's taking up my time and energy right now.
DeleteSo, who is this Jason? Hmmm....seems like he'll be a problem for Tucker.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting The Busy Mom's Daily.
Aha! So you noticed the different name. Yes, Jason becomes a problem for Tucker, and problems make for good reading.
DeleteSounds like a sweet, sweet story!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
This sounds really really good!
ReplyDeleteI like the plans she has but I'm sure the book is about her life show her a different path
ReplyDeletegreat choice

So, what went wrong with her perfect plan? I love the beginning. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteTo me, what is great about this teaser is that I think everyone on the planet has a plan that didn't work out! So it pulled me in, just wondering when and where she realized it was time for Plan B...and then what it was :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun romance! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWith such a fairytale dream I wonder what is going to go wrong. Does she as he says, "Got this?" Hmm...
ReplyDeletethe beginning just makes you want to see what went wrong, (unplanned)
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that she didn't marry Tucker. I wonder why.
ReplyDeleteI usually don't read romance, but the author is doing a great job at inviting us to read on to see how her life actually turned out
ReplyDeleteLOL! I think it's funny that you're reading the last book in the series first, but at least it's also a standalone! =) I really love the book beginning, btw, it makes me wonder if and how her plan works out! Thanks for sharing! =)
