Dear Sugar - Book Beginnings on Friday and The Friday 56

16112042
Dear Sugar, a novelette in Irma Fritz's Angel of Death Series, is told in letters between Cayenne and Sugar. The author takes us to Italy through beautiful descriptions in Cayenne's correspondence while also showing Sugar's despair through her letters. Little by little the relationship between the two letter writers is revealed--just enough to make you keep reading to find out more! Ms. Fritz ramps up the tension as the story nears its end, making you wonder if Cayenne survived, and holding out the answer until the conclusion.

Book Beginning:
Villa Isabella, L'Aquila, Italia, December 10, 2008
Dear Sugar:
Never buy a house sight unseen, especially if the price is too good to be true.

The Friday 56 (from 56% on my Kindle):
And what about the hermit, you ask? He became Pope Celestine V. It seems to be a common practice for Italian males to have female sounding names.

Genre: Women's Fiction

One love ends; another begins. One has embarked on a new life. The other is left behind and can’t let go. Across the miles, memories and longing interposed with an exuberant joy of life keep the two bound to each other.

Interception - Book Beginnings on Friday and The Friday 56

21006180
Football hero and cheerleader fall in love, get married, and live happily ever after? NOT this time! Told in the point of view of "Big J" Jackson, this is the story of a guy who never quite outgrows his super-jock persona, until a skinny girl named Betty brings him down.

INTERCEPTION is the fifth short story in The Angel of Death series by Irma Fritz and the second one I've read. Now I'm looking forward to all the others.

Book Beginning:
I always tell women I'm not the marrying kind, even though I was married once. Otherwise, it would only encourage them to think I might try again.

Friday 56:
I had planned to ask Skip nicely to clear out so my college chum and I could talk over old times, but as he stood there looking so smug, something in me snapped. When I hit him, I caught him square on the jaw. Not too hard, but he went down. [from 56% on my Kindle]

INTERCEPTION is FREE on Amazon
Friday, March 21, through Sunday, March 23

Genre: Short Story
Length: 18 Pages
