Tiptoeing Through the Tulips - #MtVernon, WA
Have you ever experienced the beauty of row after row of tulips in bloom? Here are photos from my recent visit to the fields at Tulip Town in Mount Vernon, Washington.
(Click on photos for a larger view.)
If the beauty of these blooms has inspired you to plant tulips of your own, you can order bulbs online. They will be shipped in autumn in time for planting. The variety is overwhelming.

Tulips are among my favorite flowers! Huge fields of them are just glorious. Wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the gorgeous array of beautiful tulips!
ReplyDeleteWow!! They look incredible. One of my favourite spring time flowers. Always such a variety, but always so vibrant. Thanks for visiting my blog. :)
ReplyDeleteTulip time! Aren't they gorgeous? Thanks a lot, Sandra! I've seen Skagit around the blogs before. Such a beautiful sight. :) :)
ReplyDeleteThe fields of tulips are overwhelmingly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI've seen them in Holland Michigan. And yes, they are breathtaking! Your photos are stunning.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteWOW, the tulips are gorgeous. I would love to visit this place myself. Seeing the field of tulips is stunning. Enjoy your day, have a great week ahead. Happy May to you!
We have tulip fields like that in The Isles of Scilly. It's a long way for you to come though.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I am thrilled to see a few tulips blooming. I cannot imagine seeing all those fields of tulips - joy overflowing!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
I have been there many times. Always spectacular! Thanks fir sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comment on my art workshop in the Netherlands. Since that is my country of origin, I have seen tulip fields. If you ever get the opportunity and go across the pond, you've got to visit (between end of April-May) "Keukenhof,"not too far (25 miles)from Amsterdam, or half way between Amsterdam and the Hague.
ReplyDeleteBut your walk in the woods 2 posts down is my kind of world to paint:)
Such beautiful photos! Thank you for your comment on my blog. I love tulips but can't grow them in my garden as the deer here love to eat them. I'd love to see a field full of them like this.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. We had a great inaugural trip in our RV. We planned to be out a week and stretched it to two. We saw lots of traffic getting on the freeway and heading south on Sunday, probably people leaving the Tulip Festival on the last day. I've been out to see the flowers twice, but like to go early before all the crowds. - Margy

ReplyDeleteGlorious tulips! What explosive color. We're still waiting here...
ReplyDeleteMy only problem with tulips is that they just do not last long enough. Oh, and they don't grow here in south Florida! Beautiful flower images!
ReplyDeleteI love tulips. Your photos capture the beauty of these colourful flowers so well. I would love to experience this one day.

Beautiful. I'd read about these tulips and tried to make this trip work along with one of our visits to Seattle. That didn't go according to plan. Later we went and saw some tulips at Woodburn, OR.
