Drive-thru coffee stands like this one dot major streets in western Washington state.
Most of them have more personality that the one above, however... like Cowgirls Cup.
With its spout, Perky's is supposed to resemble a coffee pot.
This pink coffee hut is a bright spot on a dreary day.
Southern Charm Espresso draws in customers by offering a "Rusty Cowboy." Based on the condition of the pickup truck, it looks like they've reached their target consumer.
Castle Perk's regal structure surely appeals to a higher class coffee enthusiast.
With locations everywhere, there's always a Starbucks nearby.
These are just some of the Starbucks locations in King County, Washington.

28 days of rain! Wow! That certainly is a soggy January.
ReplyDeleteSuch variety - I like the one that looks like a coffee pot.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteYou have many choices of coffee stands. They are cute. Sounds like a lot of rain, wishing you some sunny skies. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy week ahead!
That's a lot of rain, but those unique and fascinating coffee shops have "perked" me up already! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSweet buildings. Soggy here too!
ReplyDeleteThose are very cute coffee shops that I surely will enjoy! On a 2015 visit to Seattle, I had an amazing morning at Mill Creek Cafe when I ordered a hot chocolate and the waiter even put lots of mnms on top of the whip! SO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteSending warm smiles to cold Seattle!

28 days of rain isn't so bad when we remember it could have been snow. Ouch! I never cared for coffee (to me it smells wonderful but . . .) Anyway, I did enjoy seeing all these attractive and clever photos. Thanks, Sandy.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and some neat coffee shops ~ ^_^

Oh! I love these little coffee stops - perfect for soggy days when you don't want to leave your car. So quaint & full of character..
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your photos of the various coffee shops.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post, Sandra.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you need a lot of coffee for those Pacific Northwest rains. Stay warm. :)
...I have NEVER understood the fascination with coffee!
ReplyDeleteThose are so great!! I Love the cowgirl one!
ReplyDeleteWashington seems to lead the way in coffee. I remember Oklahoma was a coffee desert for years. We ordered Peet's for years and now there lots of coffee places.
ReplyDeleteGood to have some cheerful places to visit amidst all that rain.
ReplyDeleteWhere would we be without it? I'd struggle to get out of bed :) :)
ReplyDeleteLooks quite wet on the streets ! the little coffee shops are really cute !
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
ReplyDeleteThat is how it is done! Go girl!
ReplyDeleteI think you need to send some of that rain to Australia. It is so DRY over here. Have a great week and thank you for visiting my blog this week.
ReplyDeleteI like the Cowgirl's Cup.
ReplyDeleteSome cute and very unique coffee house.
ReplyDeleteI tell you..I loved this post! I’m a Pacific Northwest woman transplanted these days to Winter in sunnier climes. I don’t miss the rain, but dang I miss the espresso on every corner. It’s even hard to find a Starbucks around here. Granted, it’s not as much a matter of life and death here as it is for you in the winter , but a great coffee drink is such a pleasure in any weather!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! The pink one is too cute and as you said can brighten any day. I so love the one that looks like a coffee pot!!!!!!! This just made my day!
