The black and white photo makes me think of scary scenes in stories where characters are tossed about by trees.<br /><br />I have a friend who used to play with black and white to create a pleasant old-fashioned feel to photos. So, black and white doesn't have to creep one out.<br /><br />It'll be interesting to see what effect removing color from other photos will have. I have always been a colour photo fan and never really liked B&W but I am slowly turning that mid set off after seeing some of the wonderful B&W photos on our little group. I love the effect of the second photo and how it changes things up.
