Hula Time - Saturday Snapshots

    1. The same thing happened to me! I tried hula-hooping several years ago and just couldn't do it, but as a kid, it was so easy.

  6. I loved my hula hoop. I used it everyday and got to be the best in the neighborhood. Doubt I could do all those fancy moves now though.

  7. Our school has a hula hoop team who always hula-hoops for the Houston Rockets each year.

  8. Oh yes...we had fun with them.

    I tried to do it again a few weeks ago and wasn't successful. :) My nieces were doing a good job with them.

  12. We used these all the time growing up! My sister could do it for a long time! I've heard that they are good for weight los, so am thinking of getting one! LOL!

    1. I recently unearthed an old scrapbook that I thought I'd thrown away. What a delightful surprise! Now I've got a huge task - scanning all those photos and mementos.

  15. LOL! Yup! but I could NEVER make them get going round the hips, so I used them like the rolling hoops/sticks toys!
