Autumn in Auburn, Washington

I look for beauty everywhere I go, and with summer turning to fall here in the Pacific Northwest, it's just about everywhere.

There's a Walgreens drugstore on the way to my son's house, and this dazzling tree stands in the parking lot. I had to take a picture.

Also on that route, I captured these beauties while waiting for a stoplight to change.

The blaze of color in Columbia Winery's parking lot (Woodinville, WA) delayed our drive back home while I stopped to take the picture below. I posted this one as the new header on my Facebook page.

It won't be long before the trees lose all their leaves and our typical dark and drizzly winter weather descends, but right now, there's beauty just about everywhere I look.

What does autumn look like in your part of the world?

  1. Nice drive to Walgreens! I love the many colors of the trees. As you know, here in Texas, we don't see a lot of that for very long. It's like...color one day, and bare trees the next.

    1. Since I was raised in Texas, I know what you mean! Autumn usually doesn't linger. But it's glorious while it lasts.

  2. Oh my! I love this! The pictures are just stunning. I miss fall the most. There obviously was none in Florida and not so much here in Charleston either. Thanks...

    1. When I lived in Florida, I missed having seasons too -- especially autumn. But when February rolled around, it was a great place to be.
Thank you for stopping by, Jacquie.

  3. I adore the Pacific Northwest...and despite all the rain, really have always wanted to live there....maybe someday? California has its beauty, too, but I'm in the Central Valley...so blahhh! LOL
